The National Accreditation Center applied to APLAC as an associate member on 24.10.2016. Our application was accepted on 17 February 2017 and published on the APLAC page. APLAC and PAC, which are located in Asia Pacific Economic Zone, have taken a decision of merger and have been operating as APAC since 1 January 2019. Transferred to the same status as APAC in MAM’s membership ( https://www.apac-accreditation.org/membership/).
In addition, the National Accreditation Center was accepted as a member of the International Halal Accreditation Forum (IHAF) on 29.10.2018. ( http://www.ihaf.org.ae/en/list-of-members/ ).
Complying with international standards official recognition of conformity assessment systems, encouraging accreditation activities. Conducting training required by Conformity Assessment organizations. It conducts activities to contribute and facilitate trade with competitive economic activities for all laboratory and inspection services in the world. In order to work as an accreditation structure, ISO / IEC 17011 Conformity assessment – Compliance assessment standards must be complied with for accreditation bodies accrediting organizations. At the same time, the rules of the Asia Pacific Accreditation Association (APAC) must be adhered to.
